The C-17 Globemaster III is the newest, most flexible cargo aircraft to enter the airlift force. The C-17 can take off and land on runways as short as 3,500 feet and only 90 feet wide. Even on such narrow runways, the massive 500,000 pound jet can turn around using a three-point star turn and its backing capability.  During a C-17 full capabilities demonstration its agility and ability to maneuver defies imagination and its ability to stop in less than 2,500 feet during a combat landing simulation is equally as impressive....

The B-52 Stratofortress is a long-range strategic heavy bomber flown by the United States Air Force since the 1950s.  This heavy bomber is capable of carrying up to 35 tons of weapons and can fly nearly 9,000 miles without refueling. The B-52's wings span 185 feet and are designed to vertically flex as much as 26 feet in flight.  Small wheels are mounted near the end of each wing tip to keep them from touching the ground when fully loaded with fuel or during landing....

John Black flies his Super Decathlon to the edge of the envelope putting on an dynamic display and showing what you can really make an over-the-wing airplane do!  John learned to fly at just 17 and his first aerobatic lesson was in the very same type of plane he flies for his air show performance.  A retired Air Force pilot, John currently flies the P-51 Mustang, L-39, and AT-6 when he’s not gracing the skies and wowing crowds with his show stopping performance!...

The A-10 Thunderbolt II better known as the "Warthog" is a single-pilot attack aircraft designed for short takeoffs and landings from primitive airfields.  The A-10 can operate nearly anywhere and provide ground troops with close air support. The entire aircraft was largely designed around its nose gun, a 30 mm Avenger cannon. The seven-barrel rotary cannon measures nine feet long and fires 30mm armor-piercing shells at a rate of nearly 4,000 rounds per minute. As a result it has been given the nickname “Tank killer”. The Avenger cannon also represents over 15 percent of the aircraft's weight.  When the gun is removed for maintenance, the A-10's tail must be supported to keep the nose from tipping up....

The GEICO Skytypers are a flight squadron of six vintage SNJ-2 WWII era aircraft that will perform precision flight maneuvers. The team performs a thrilling, low-altitude, precision-formation flying demonstration filling the sky and coming from all directions to provide spectators a unique viewing experience.  In addition to their air show performance, the GEICO Skytypers also "type" giant messages in the sky. Known as the world's largest text messages, as tall as the Empire State Building and visible for nearly 400 square miles....

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds fly the F-16 Fighting Falcon and perform a combination of formation and solo maneuvers in an inspiring, patriotic, high energy demonstration. The four-jet diamond performs precision formation flight with the aircraft wingtips as close as 4 feet apart while performing loops, inverted rolls and even high performance turns! The two solo jets perform high energy maneuvers together and from opposite directions closing in on each other as fast as 1,000 mph. The six jets come together in the delta formation as the finale for the show, flying difficult formations and signature breaks that fill the sky with speed, sound and smoke trails!  > Click Here for more information on the Thunderbirds....
